There are so many ways to support the Friends of the Performing Arts! By giving a little of your time, talent, or resources, you’ll help MHS continue offering one of the best performing arts programs in the state, and ensure our students have the advocacy and encouragement they deserve. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
The FoPA board meets on the first Tuesday of every month. Join us to help plan upcoming events, share ideas, and connect with teachers, parents, and other community supporters. We’re friendly and fun. and we’d love to have you at the table!
Our students and teachers work tirelessly to bring incredible performances to the community, from department concerts and musicals to Dramafest and Acappellooza. When you attend, you not only enjoy a great show but also inspire our student performers with a full house.
FoPA provides support for student performances and special events throughout the year, from Rock the Arts Night to the end-of-year Performing Arts Banquet. Each event offers easy but meaningful ways to contribute, whether that’s bringing food and drinks for performers, setting up for post-concert receptions, helping with decorations, or assisting with ticket and concession sales. Your time makes a real impact. Watch for volunteer sign-up sheets ahead of each performance to see how you can help.
Proud of our students? Show it off! Purchase Marblehead Music gear at the Marblehead Sports Shop and wear it to performances and around town.
Financial contributions help sustain our programs, provide resources, and create opportunities for our students. Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated.
Join our mailing list or follow FoPA on Facebook for exciting updates on upcoming performance, student spotlights and more.
With the help of parents and community members, FoPA provides resources that keep our performing arts program thriving. From purchasing instruments, sheet music, and costumes to funding professional workshops and student enrichment opportunities, we make sure our students have what they need to learn, grow, and shine on stage.
Just as importantly, FoPA supports the dedicated teachers who pour their time and energy into these programs. By helping with event logistics, covering essential expenses, and recognizing their hard work, we aim to lighten their load so they can focus on teaching and supporting students.
