Introduction
Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Les. The project I am presenting you is my brain child, and it is for almost 3 years now already.
I am sorry at this point that I did not try to bring it to life a lot earlier...
Trying to summarize my project:
- It is all about forming a community of serious, dedicated, passionate football (soccer) bettors, who like to make wagers every day on football matches, unless something important keeps them away from this activity for a short while.
- A community in which the value shared by it's members, in the form of their wagers, predictions, vision on football matches and football betting should benefit all members, by using other's betting activity to get a better long term record on their betting bankrolls.
- A community in which the contributors which give the most value in the opinion of the whole community, to be rewarded financially by the whole of the community.
Communities with this kind of members and this goal may be already out there, maybe even many of them. However, I plan something that in my opinion will be unique, and will present unique value for all it's future members.
What I think you need to know about me, that can be relevant to this project?
I am a passionate sports bettor even since I was in high school. Being now over 50, at that time of course there was betting possible only offline, and I've done that only on football.
Practically since the Internet became widely enough available, my betting moved online on football, to which American sports were added since 2001.
In the period of 2001-2007 I had some subscriptions to American sports services. I am not sure about the number of these services, but the maximum was 6. I never made significant financial gain from the sum of these services I was customer of (in some I lost money, counting in the subscription fee too), and since than I never ever paid for sports picks.
I was active member of several big sports betting forums, under different usernames - but not so much in the last 3-4 years, because of other activities which limit my time.
I was also involved since 2010 until early 2020 with several sports betting services - touting services/selling plays services, if you like to name them like that.
By several I mean that in 3 of them I was one of those sites' handicappers, and in 5 other projects I was managing and running the whole project/site. I need to mention here that I am a amateur web designer, and in these own projects even the websites were my creations.
In these 5 projects I never had my owns plays/picks, but I was managing the handicappers who were participating in those projects. The least number of participant handicappers was 5, and the most was 12 on my sites.
All these sports betting projects I was involved with as handicapper or manager, had very different setups (including the way of rewarding the participants for successful records), and some had only football, while others had just American Sports.
I have learned many things from these projects... the most from those run by myself. One very important point was that from 10 bettors who will swear that they are very serious about their betting, are very experienced, and are clearly profitable in the long run for someone following them, only 1 will be checking all these boxes if put to test for at least 3 months.
Or, in other words, from bettors honestly believing about themselves these 3 above mentioned bettor qualities, no more than 1 is right.
Maybe this was the reason for that all my own projects I was managing did not live for too long, and were not really profitable for me, looking at the financial aspect.
One thing I can say, which I am kind of proud of: my paying customers always got what was promised before they joined, including that all the guaranties given in these projects were always respected.
Those projects' paying customers were never left with holes in their sport betting bankrolls, never had serious complaints, even if at time things had not gone as they should be. In these cases the common problem was always the overall quality of the handicappers who were involved.
Payments for all these sports service sites were done just through PayPal by subscribers.
No wonder that I have a PayPal account in very good standing since 2006, having the main email address the same. This account never ever got restricted even for a couple of days. This says a lot, given the fact that I had made transactions with so many sports bettors during the existence of the account. And yes, they were all sports bettors - this PayPal account had no connection with activity in any other field.
Regarding my own betting:
Since 2020 I have reverted exclusively to betting on football (soccer). This is the sport I like the best, I know the best, and I like to do research about the most... and all these by far! I am profitable of course, but not that much that I could make a living from this. (Well, maybe if I had a bankroll of at least USD 40,000 , who knows...)
My betting style is one in which about 90% of all the wagers I make are placed in the last 5 minutes before the start of matches, and the remaining 10% is placed in halftime break of matches. All my wagers are for the same "unit" (same risked amount compared to the size of my betting bankroll), and I do never play any parlays (accumulators).
In fact I was doing my whole sports betting in this style since about 2016, including for the American sports, because this is what has worked the best for me.
This does not mean that I'm not almost always trying other betting/handicapping methods, including other money managements. The common thing is that I run at once just one of such trial, and I am using for these trials a portion of my betting bankroll which is just between 15-25%. In fact even while I am redacting this text, in 2 well known sports betting forums I am posting with more or less regularity my football (soccer) wagers on these trials.
I am looking for that "holy grail" method/system, which of course will never come... So trying new stuff became like a hobby, even if all this is just making dents in the long run in my whole betting bankroll.
