What is the PTA?
The PTA, or Parent Teacher Association, is a volunteer organization where parents, teachers, students, and community members come together to support our school. We work collaboratively to enhance the educational experience and foster a sense of community.
What Does It Mean to Join the PTA?
Joining the PTA means becoming a part of a supportive network that enriches our school. Membership includes a small fee, a portion of which goes to the Upland District Council PTA and the National PTA. The remaining funds stay with our local PTA, and we rely on fundraising to support various school activities and programs.
How Is Money from Fundraising Used?
Funds raised by the PTA are used to support a variety of activities and needs, including:
Field Trips
School Assemblies (e.g., Imagination Machine)
Fall Family Festival Event
TK-5 Spring Dance/Spring Event
School Gifts (playground equipment, marquee)
Red Ribbon Week
Classroom Supplies
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Events
This list highlights just some of the ways we support our school to create a safe, fun, and enriching learning environment.
Can Anyone Become a Member?
Absolutely! PTA membership is open to everyone, regardless of whether you're a parent, student, educator, family member, business leader, or community member. We welcome all who want to support our school's mission.
