General Information: Weekly private lessons are offered in 30 minute sessions. The fee for a 30 minute session is $20.
At the Studio: Students are expected to arrive for lessons on time. If a student is late, it will cut into their lesson time. The lesson will end at its regularly scheduled time due to respecting the time of other students scheduled after the lesson. Parents and siblings may quietly wait in the waiting area, wait in their vehicle in the driveway, or run errands so long as they return to pick up their student in a timely manner.
Practice and Instrument: Students are expected to practice daily on a well-maintained acoustic piano or digital keyboard with weighted keys.
Materials: Books may be purchased directly from the studio. You will be given the amount due at your first lesson. Each student should also bring an assignment notebook to track assigned pieces and practice suggestions/goals for each week.
Calendar: The studio follows the school calendar. Any days there is no school, there will be no lessons. Summer lessons are available, but students do have the option of taking the summer off and resuming in September.
Payment and Tuition: Payment is due at the beginning of each lesson. You may pay by cash or check.
Cancellations: Please try to cancel your lesson with 24 hours notice, unless, illness and/or emergency. There will be an attempt to reschedule your lesson for another time, but this may not be possible in every situation. You will not be charged for a lesson unless you do not show up or call. In the case of not showing up or calling, you will be charged the lesson fee of $20 at the beginning of your next lesson.
