Leading Private Artificial Limb Clinic, Serving the patients from across the globe
🌟 A Journey from Despair to Confidence
When a 52-year-old Indian-origin US citizen lost all four limbs due to severe complications of COVID-19, life took an unimaginable turn. She endured multiple surgeries, followed by an exhaustive rehabilitation process in the United States. Despite all efforts, she continued to struggle with mobility, balance, and repeated falls, making day-to-day life extremely challenging.
During this difficult phase, she came across a reference for Foot Care Jaipur (Artificial Limb Clinic Since 1998) through her relatives in the USA. With hope and courage, she decided to travel to Jaipur for a fresh evaluation and a new beginning.
Her clinical condition was complex —
Below-knee amputation in one leg
Loss of all five toes in the other foot
Below-elbow amputation in one hand
Loss of all four fingers on the other hand
Our clinical team, led by Dr. Rajiv Agrawal, Clinical Director (Prosthetics & Orthotics) conducted a detailed assessment of her medical history, physical challenges, mental readiness, and functional goals. Based on this, we designed a personalized first-phase rehabilitation plan focusing on:
âś” Below-Knee Prosthesis
âś” Partial Foot Prosthesis
Once fitted and trained, she began walking with renewed confidence. Within a short time, she could walk comfortably, climb stairs, and perform daily tasks with stability and safety. The smile on her face said it all — she had regained her sense of independence.
She expressed immense satisfaction with her decision to choose Foot Care Jaipur for her rehabilitation journey. Today, she walks without any support, living a more active and dignified life.
At Foot Care Jaipur, a happy patient is our greatest asset. Being a part of her transformation and witnessing the improvement in her quality of life fills us with pride and motivation.

🌟 A 13-Year Journey to His First Steps
A 13-year-old boy from the southern part of India was born with a rare congenital anomaly—one of his legs had no knee joint, and in its place was a small, deformed foot rotated upward. Since birth, he had never walked on his own two feet. His only way to move was by using crutches, and every step of life depended on them.
The family spent years visiting prosthetists doctors across the country. Every expert gave the same opinion—amputation—as the only technically feasible solution. But the family was emotionally unprepared for such a drastic step.
When they reached Foot Care Jaipur, their biggest question was:
“Can our child ever walk on his own feet without amputation?”
This became the foundation of one of our biggest challenges—
to accommodate the complex residual limb and deformed foot inside a prosthetic socket while ensuring proper weight management, alignment, and safe weight transfer.
After a detailed clinical evaluation and multiple discussions, our team of prosthetist doctors led by Dr. Rajiv Agrawal, Clinical Director (Prosthetics & Orthotics), finalized a customized prosthetic prescription through innovative planning and biomechanical analysis.
The prosthesis was meticulously fabricated and fitted by our trained technical team under expert supervision. And then came the moment young boy's family had waited 13 long years for…
For the first time since birth, the young boy stood and walked on his own feet.
His excitement knew no bounds.
His parents were overwhelmed—tears of joy rolled down their faces as they watched their child take the steps they had only dreamed of.
For Team Foot Care Jaipur and Dr. Agrawal, this moment was just as emotional and fulfilling.
A happy, confident, and mobile patient is the greatest reward for our work.
At Foot Care Jaipur, we believe that every life can be transformed with the right approach, dedication, and compassion.
And this young boy’s success story is a shining example of that belief.
Foot Care Jaipur — Restoring Mobility, Restoring Lives.
At Foot Care Jaipur (Artificial Limb Clinic Since 1998), every patient brings a unique story—of resilience, hope, and the desire to walk again. One such inspiring journey is of a 55-year-old gentleman from South India.
Nearly a decade ago, his life took an unexpected turn after a severe snake bite led to complications, ultimately resulting in a below-knee amputation. Like many in rural parts of India, access to specialized prosthetic care was limited.
Determined to stay independent, he learned to move around with the help of a lathi (walking stick). Over time, this became his way of life—but not without challenges. Walking was slow, tiring, and often painful. His world gradually became smaller.
In search of a better solution, he tried using a free-distributed prosthetic limb. However, the fit wasn't as expected, felt prosthesis heavy and comfort was missing. Instead of improving his mobility, it added to his discomfort.
Like many patients, he began to believe:
"Maybe this is the best life can offer now."
Encouraged by a known contact, he travelled all the way to Foot Care Jaipur (Artificial Limb Clinic Since 1998)—a decision that would redefine his life.
From the very first consultation, the approach was different.
Under the leadership of Dr. Rajiv Agrawal, Clinical Director (Prosthetics & Orthotics), the team conducted a detailed assessment—not just of his residual limb, but of his lifestyle, walking pattern, and personal goals.
The team of highly qualified and experienced Prosthetists & Orthotists designed a customized below-knee prosthesis with:
Accurate socket fitting for maximum comfort
Proper alignment for natural gait
Advanced component selection suited to his daily activities
Focus on long-term usability, not just immediate walking
Every step was carefully monitored—from casting to gait training.
For the first time in years, he stood up without his lathi—hesitant at first, but hopeful.
Step by step, he began walking.
Not just walking—but walking confidently, comfortably, and almost normally.
His words said it all:
"Mujhe laga main phir se chalna seekh gaya hoon… par is baar sahi tareeke se."
At Foot Care Jaipur, the goal is not just to provide a limb—it is to restore dignity, independence, and quality of life.
With nearly three decades of experience, the team has rehabilitated thousands of patients from across India and around the world. Their strength lies in combining clinical expertise with deep human understanding.
Today, this gentleman walks without support, manages his daily routine independently, and carries a renewed sense of confidence.
His journey reminds us:
The right prosthesis, in the right hands, can truly transform lives.
