Method
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and line a cake tin with butter paper.
In a bowl, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This step helps create a soft texture.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add few drops of vanilla essence.
In another bowl, sift flour and baking powder. Gradually fold this into the wet mixture.
Mix in the fresh strawberry puree. Add pinch of pink or red food colour to achieve a vibrant strawberry shade. Adjust according to your preference.
Add milk gradually and mix to form a smooth batter. Pour into the prepared cake tin.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing. You can frost it with whipped cream or strawberry frosting for extra flavor.
