A Tour of Eden Park in Cincinnati, Ohio
Eden Park is an urban park located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The hilltop park occupies 186 acres and offers numerous overlooks of the Ohio River valley. The park's acreage was purchased by the city in 1869 from Joseph Longworth (1813–1883), son of Nicholas Longworth, a prominent Cincinnati landowner and horticulturist, who had previously used it as a vineyard. The city constructed a 12 acre, 96 million gallon reservoir which was removed in the early 1960s and the site redeveloped into the Mirror Lake reflecting pool and baseball fields.

The colors aren't as bright as I hoped, but still very beautiful! Always a pleasure to see nature smiling at us!
The Meade Property, Symmes Township
The house was built in 1906 on an over 200-acre farm for Dr. Charles C. Meade, a homeopathic physician, Pulte Medical College of Cincinnati professor of obstetrics, Homeopathic Medical Society president, and former president and director of the Hamilton County Fair Board. Dr. Meade was born in Fort Branch, Indiana in 1862, and graduated from Central Normal College at Danville, Indiana, in 1886 before earning a medical degree from Pulte Medical College in Cincinnati in 1890. He went on to post graduate studies at the New York Post-Graduate School of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Meade lived in this house with his second wife, continuing to assist neighbors with difficult births in his retirement. He sold the house in 1917 and moved to the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati.

Landen Lake
Landen Lake, originally designed to be the heart of the Landen Farm Community, is reserved for the sole use of its residents. In the early 1970’s, a major tributary to the Little Miami River—known as Simpson’s Creek—flowed through the Landen area on its way to the river. To create the lake, land around Simpson’s Creek was removed and a dam was created on the north end (now known as Landen Drive). The 56 acre, 1 mile long lake continues to be fed by Simpson’s Creek as well as a natural underground spring.
Blue Ash Airport was a public airport located in Blue Ash, Ohio, but owned by the City of Cincinnati. Established in 1921, the airfield was one of the first in operation in the United States, and it became Ohio's first municipal airport when Cincinnati purchased it in 1946. For decades, it was eyed as a potential future site for Cincinnati's primary commercial airport, but efforts to develop the site repeatedly failed. In the 1970s, much of the property around the airfield was converted into an industrial park and golf course. Cincinnati eventually sold about half of the remaining airfield to the City of Blue Ash and permanently closed the facility on August 29, 2012. The City of Blue Ash wanted a remarkable public space. One that will become a regional treasure and provide opportunities for young and old 365 days a year with a focus on community, education, health and wellness, the environment and entertainment. The Summit Park Grand Opening Celebration was held in 2014.
Training Videos
Humans are very visual animals, and we learn best when "shown" things. That's why a video training process can be more impactful than any number of hand-outs.
