Rita is the President and Founder of L.I.P.S. She is ambitious, creative, and idealistic. Her catchphrase is, "Let's Do This!" When not dancing, Rita likes doing origami, reading, and playing with her labradoodle, Debka. She is a second year math major at New Eisenberg State University (NESU).
Brady is the club's Secretary and has danced with Leo for two years. They like twirling in circles and working with spreadsheets, and they give great hugs. Brady's is a computer science major and their favorite color is gold. They feel like the truest version of themselves within the folk dance circle.
Elsie is the Vice President of L.I.P.S, and Rita's best friend. Her favorite dance is Ievan Polkka. She writes for the student newspaper and sings in the NESU chorus. Although she has a busy schedule, she makes time for scrapbooking and watching makeup tutorials.
Rory is the L.I.P.S. Treasurer, and he loves spreading the word about his favorite hobby. He has a quick temper and doesn't take no for an answer. Sometimes he can be a bit overconfident or rambunctious, but he is an empath with a kind heart. Rory is a chemistry major with a minor in music.
Jason is a history major and the Photographer for L.I.P.S. He looks for the stories and culture behind each dance. Jason is known on campus for making cheesy puns and playing his guitar on the quad in good weather. He knows all of New Eisenberg's community leaders through his job at the local YMCA.
Amira is a psychology major with a sense of adventure. She can be found knitting, skateboarding, or painting all over the NESU campus. Amira is a skilled dancer and will often lead line dances.
Carmen is the newest dancer of L.I.P.S. She enjoys learning the names of new dances and trying on costumes. She is a mechanical engineering major and spends lots of time in shop.
Leo is the folk dance teacher for L.I.P.S. and runs a dance studio near NESU. He is originally from Moldova and often shares his cultural heritage with his students. He is charismatic and witty.
Norma Davis is the prim and practical Student Activities director at NESU. Her favorite foods are figs, goat cheese, and petit fours. She always has her nose in a book about linguistics or theology.
