PSYCHIATRIC ASYLUM
Sulfitera Naivis
Narrative architecture and Naïve art come together on a culturological topos and create a hybrid in the form of my master’s diploma project for a Psychiatric asylum. The project is generated through the mixing of writings (écriture). There is the simultaneous presence of epochs and styles, which give rise to completely experimental spaces. On the other hand, it is architectural rewriting of Michel Foucault's interpretation of renaissance narrative about “Ship of Fools". How important was the aspect of narrative as sense through which to reveal the project to an exterior audience? The comic book came from the model and the material for the presentation. The project had to be read as path, since the deambulation into that maze was a key for it. During my study period, Michel Foucault’s texts opened a new view of the "other spaces", which was the subject of another project for elders’ home. The theme of heterotopias (other spaces) carried on to psychiatric hospital, in which one interest is possibility of improving institutions by means of architecture (which is less convincing) and the other - a cultural reflection on heterotopias and Follies. The key element of my project - the ship is the representation of interest towards the heterotopia. Main concept of the project is the juxtaposition of place and places. The Madhouse is not a single place, but an array of places, simultaneous multiplicity of places – the main folded building with its multitude of spaces, the floating ship on Lake Paliastomi, and the “vacation” towers for the mad. The project site is located near city of Poti (Georgia), at the banks of the Palastomi Lake on the peninsula, connected with the rivers to the Black Sea. The Sea, in its essence, is substantial for realization of the project’s scenario, as are the other "ingredients" for the recipe of the asylum: one Forest Grove; a lake; academic buildings (synthesized with the playful mannered spaces); naive cottages - the resort; the ship (for moving through space) and the road that transforms a fool into a traveler, giving him the vast spaces to stay adrift and ultimately be free.
Palace of Congestion
The concept idea of the represented theme as how will be the future couple of decades of work retail and learning environments brought up the reminiscence of the article of
Rem Koolhaa's “Life in the Metropolis’ or ‘The Culture of Congestion”.
The proposed plan as a collage of functions that describes on the synthetic platforms an episode of Metropolitan ritual. Each of the rectangles of the edifice is such a scenario with a differentiated suggestive — if abstract— plots.
That completed the utopian aspirations of architecture created in advance for the future decade between the rational sense “as a manifest will to power whose desire for a collective freedom had been converted into the totalizing formula of a steel and glass cage, “towards the innovational way through the history of high rises. Will do well for the future everyday lives.
The futuristic concerns and its maintenance of what should still be seen as functionalist and programmatic wills, is characterized by the vast space consumption, congestion and all manner of worldliness created the “techno-psychic” environment. As once were built skyscrapers to economise the land at the expense of high rise, vertical planning, and multi storied spaces in a few decades won't be enough for enlarged scales. Some measures need to be taken altogether. The edifice with the free void of Veil is represented something that is for need intersection of the sky (clouds , sky dwellers, birds etc.) and edifice that can be described as the /interface/ between /nature/ and / techno/ or also as the transition zone where natural and technical uses mix and often clash. Alternatively, it can be viewed as an independent land (sky) scape type in its own right, one forged from an interaction of a nature and mechanical man made uses. Skyrise located in urban jungle and its residents squeeze into an even smaller area: much of the territory is so mountainous it is impossible to build on. As it is known the birds have so called sky lands where they can fly or even feel home. With limited space to grow outwards, Metropolis has been expanding upwards for decades, and now has more skyscrapers than New York or Hong Kong in the very midst of 2020s above all there cannot be the areas for birds any more as the skyscrapers are high enough to dwell the sky as there is No place for claustrophobics! There will be opened spaces even one feel on the land not inside the building. It is one of the rare 21st century buildings that is truly revolutionary: it offers a full inventory of the fundamental modifications—technical and psychological—that are caused by life in the Metropolis, and that separate this century from all previous ones. Its existence allows a spectrum of experiences on a single place that was previously unthinkable. It is the edifice of edifies in a word a place that includes other buildings with its infrastructures. Thus the whole metropolis is included at the Skyrise of congestion.
The promise of the 200-story Building—that of a skyscraper fully conquered by higher forms. All the latent potential of the skyscraper as a type is exploited in a masterpiece of the Culture of Congestion, a Constructivist Social Condenser materialized in the Palace of Congestion.
Veil *_ is the form of nano-technological free void that can be folded. It is habitable and can endure all kinds of shape changes.

Cultural Center of Lazika
The cultural center in Lazika, is visually reminded ofthemountain /rock which is designed before the hall of public service, this area islocated in the lowland of Colchis, Country ofGeorgia . from an opening of"Mountain"light getsin an interior, the Birds nesng on "Mountain" while, in the auditorium Mozart is played and a rock concert isled to themusic hall. On the other side there isthe store of stasges, more likemuseums ofstages with variousmuseums. There is gallery included for installaons At the me of contemorality heterotopias and haterocronsreallocaon gives us a complex picture. First of all, Foucault mades out me collector heterotopias – museums and librariesin which the me is not determined to accumulate . The enormous project ofthe present , modernity to collect everything, to create general archivewhich in itself would bring the presence of all the me and epochs, all forms, for all tastes. As itself will be beyond the me. Therefore it isrecognised as interesng to consider the architectural theatre of scenario to heed the picturesque painng ofthe stage -thewhole archiving of a scene. Expansion of archives behind the stage which isrepresented Piranesian alleys-.gives an interesng picturesque opportunies ofscene. It is not considered, asthough the stage just approved the sequence occurs(asit istradional), but we deal with accumulated stagnant mes. Here, the me passage has become space shaped. Eventually the project is as heterotopical so heterochronical, and at the dual meaning : posion ofthe city of Lazika ( asit isthe yet not built city only building isthe JusceHouse) isrepeated and also reflects on the Cultural Center.

The ( CO)W(CO)URT brief
Nowadays architecture increases at high speed. At this rate more it improves it getting hard to find a new paradigm. Architecture is in need of donor and it has been found— Naive art that become essential for this project .. The title: (Co)w(Co)urt is a linguistic hybrid with no definite meaning. Project area is located by the main river side of Mtkvari at the capital of Georgia ,Tbilisi this location is conventional though the edifice can be placed stared from desert to vast fields as itself includes utopia as well as heterotopias placeless place concept. The project has two plots of uncanny narrative that is the synthesis of the contradicts. From polysemic reading one of would be : the cow with rooms . Paradigm of Resting cow in the field which went through the architectural echo camera translated into pneumatic construction and become implementable. Despite that it has not lost its version capability. In a way, it is represented irrational tissue of the cow literally translated on architectural "langue" and happened its embodiment from Naive art, coexists with ,on the other hand, the strictly defined plan of court. Not only Naive art was enough for the reflection of this project despite the statement that from architecture can not create architecture. Overlap of the two texts #1 itself the court scheme task and #2 Louis Kahn`s genial plans of an old castles and fortresses give the new paradigm birth . The name derived from his works "intra muros" completely transformed and the free significant wall lost its meaning by depriving the function so do the metaphysics and translated into weaving field of grass came into correspondence to the wall as well as buffer zone functionally. It made to set walls free and created eco friendly environment instead of deaf mass of wall. There is an entropy created with the field with zero walls, but fields cover / coat the transparent rooms between the working spaces. As it is said : the grass implemented in the edifice it works as "marsh towers" and it is used for filtration the water. the edifice acts as an image/ substance that is the code suggesting comprehension on a sense level. Itself substance transforms in to the place and is as cultural topos . As the origin of the cover it can be folded , stored or change the color . the abilities mentioned above deprives the edifice its qualities and Opens the way for a free game. The "message " of the project :The court in the cow is the representation of utopia.

The future is the meeting place of the achievements (cultural, technological, scinetifical and so on) of the past. The space with the unlimited capabilities.
Technological advances will simplify everything , in all fields . Any item will be purchased with the help of the Internet without leaving the location. The delivery will be made by drones, which will bring the purchases at any time, at any place. Which will save us time and energy.
As for the teaching and communication thanks to the holographic image. There will be the possibility of attendance at the lecture, or class, or at any meeting without leaving the house. As if the whole audience spatial modeling happens around us, as well as any training studies simplified for instance: If we are talking about the Parthenon on the hologram through the Parthenon moderates around us and visualization of its grandeur monumentality will be perceived not in 2D dimension (picture) but in 3D (hologram). It will have the exact same opportunities in any field.
There will be simplification and improvement of the means of transportation, light aircraft as Flyboard, Jet pack, and the alike ones. Which will be used to move from the house to “the service desk” directly, without interruption to get anywhere. Which will help to minimize the chances stuck in traffic at the emergency time, or rush hours. The number of the injured people will be reduced to its minimum level at the natural disasters or the terrorist acts. With The Flyboard people would be able independently to get safe place. For example, such technologies would have done a huge help during the devastating tsunamis in Japan. At the 09/11 while the mass of the innocent people were locked up in the building easily manage to leave the shopping center.
The next two decades will be reflected the most interestingly in architecture. Appears new paradigm of building and building parts that entirely changes the face of architectural epistem. "Veil" transformating through the buildings, or parts of the building. Materials, constactional elemnts etc. the building will be the one united space. As an organic part that transforms and changes its form, folds and opens up, has no limits in formation of the appearance of buildings. It will be movable changeable and manageable at the same time. Its architecture would not be frozen in time (motionless, still) but in the realtime continuous through the space.
The human can save the most important resource_ time and being able to use it in a rational way in the existing “Smart Space”- surroundings.
