Todd McCoy joined the funeral home business in 1988 and received his embalmers license in 1993. The life of a funeral director just happened to present itself to him while he was in high school. "I was looking for a job and I found a help wanted sign on the door of a funeral home in Carthage. I was the youngest person the owner had ever hired, and he ended up being an iconic part of my life. I decided I wanted to continue his work." Todd feels honored to have been taught by an older generation of funeral directors. In 2021, Todd became the owner and director of the present Fohn and McQueen Funeral Homes and continues their hallmark tradition of excellence while serving the community. Todd's main focus is to offer personalized service with the sincerest concern for those who suffer the loss of a loved one.

Bethany McCoy 

Owner | Office Manager

Bethany is co-owner with her husband Todd of the Fohn and McQueen Funeral Homes. Bethany joined the funeral home on a full-time bases in 2021, bringing her vast administration experience. After working in the corporate world for 21 years, Bethany wanted to begin focusing on community and matters of the heart. This role gives her the opportunity to not only work alongside her husband, but engage with local families in a meaningful way.
