The Extension interacts with YouTube's subtitle API solely for the purpose of displaying captions on your active tab. This data is processed in real-time and is never saved or sent to any external servers.
3. Permissions The Extension requires the following permissions:
storage: Used solely to save your local theme preferences (Dark/Light/System) on your device.
host permissions (*://*.youtube.com/*): Required strictly to read native video captions and apply the focus-overlay UI on YouTube.
