- **Purpose:** Track time spent on websites for WebStat Analytics

- **Data Access:** Website URLs and visit timestamps

- **Privacy Impact:** Processed locally; never sent to external servers


### 3. **tabs**


- **Purpose:** Monitor active tabs to enforce blocking rules

- **Data Access:** Current tab URL and status

- **Privacy Impact:** Real-time processing only; no persistent storage of tab data


### 4. **scripting**


- **Purpose:** Inject blocking scripts to display block pages

- **Data Access:** Ability to modify page content when blocking

- **Privacy Impact:** Only activates on blocked websites


### 5. **webNavigation**


- **Purpose:** Detect when you navigate to blocked websites

- **Data Access:** Navigation events and URLs

- **Privacy Impact:** Processed in real-time; no data retention


### 6. **topSites**


- **Purpose:** Categorize your frequently visited sites for analytics

- **Data Access:** List of most visited websites

- **Privacy Impact:** Used only for local AI categorization


### 7. **host_permissions (all_urls)**


- **Purpose:** Enable blocking functionality on any website you choose

- **Data Access:** Ability to access any website you visit

- **Privacy Impact:** Only used to enforce your blocking rules; no data collection

## Data Security


FocusPilot implements enterprise-grade security measures:

- Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations

- SHA-256 cryptographic hash function

- Salted hashing prevents rainbow table attacks

- Plain text passwords are NEVER stored


### 2. **Local Processing**


- All AI categorization happens on your device

- No cloud processing or external API calls

- No data transmission to remote servers


### 3. **Content Security Policy**


- Strict CSP prevents unauthorized script execution

- No inline scripts or external resources

You can delete all FocusPilot data at any time:


**Option 1: Reset All Settings**


1. Open FocusPilot dashboard

2. Go to General Settings

3. Click "Reset All Settings"

4. Confirm deletion


**Option 2: Uninstall Extension**


1. Right-click FocusPilot icon in Chrome toolbar

2. Select "Remove from Chrome"

3. Confirm removal

4. All data is automatically deleted


**Option 3: Clear Chrome Extension Data**


1. Go to `chrome://settings/clearBrowserData`

2. Select "Advanced"

3. Check "Site settings" and "Hosted app data"

4. Click "Clear data"

## Children's Privacy


FocusPilot does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. Since we don't collect any personal data at all, the extension can be safely used by users of all ages. Parents should supervise their children's use of browser extensions.
