This Privacy Policy applies to the Focus Net Timer Productivity app (the "Application") for mobile and other devices, created by Vanca Rafael Marian (the "Service Provider"). The Application is provided at no cost and is ad-supported.
The most important thing to know is that your personal data is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted, stored, or accessed on any external servers belonging to the Service Provider. This includes your focus session history, timer duration and tag choices, selected companion, app theme, background sound preference, notification and reminder settings, custom focus tags, onboarding, and premium status. You have full control over this data.
The Application collects a limited amount of information for specific purposes:
For the core functionality of the Application, the following data is stored only on your device:
Preferences: Your chosen focus duration, selected focus tag, background sound, sound effects settings, app theme, selected companion, notification settings, and whether you have completed onboarding or redeemed a premium code.
Focus history: Completed focus sessions (duration, date, success status, and tag). Used only to display your stats and to unlock in-app rewards like companions and themes.
Progress: Companion unlock progress and premium status.
This information is used solely to provide the Application's features and is not sent to any server.
The Application uses third-party advertising services to support its development. These third-party providers may collect and share certain data—such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and usage data—to serve relevant advertisements. While the Application itself does not directly gather precise GPS location information, third-party ad networks may use coarse location data derived from your internet connection to deliver localized ads.
Notifications: The Application may request permission to show notifications for focus reminders. Notification scheduling is handled on your device; no schedule data is sent to external servers.
Audio: Background sounds are played locally on your device; no audio is streamed from or sent to external servers.
System settings: The Application may use your device's display and language settings to provide a consistent experience. This information is not stored or transmitted.
The Application uses the following, which may have their own privacy practices:
Google Play Services (on Android) and Apple system services (on iOS) for core device functionality (e.g. notifications, storage).
Google AdMob: Used for delivering advertisements within the Application.

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are in full control. You can delete it in the following ways:
Reset Progress (in-app): Use the "Reset Progress" option in Settings to clear history and progress.
Clear app data (Android): In your device Settings → Apps → Focus Net Timer Productivity → Storage → Clear data.
Offload or delete the app (iOS): Deleting the Application removes it and all its data from your device.
The Service Provider does not retain copies of your data, as it is not transmitted to the Service Provider.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the Application and stored data on their device, you may delete that data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the Application.
The Service Provider cares about the security of your information. Data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's own security (e.g. passcode, biometrics). The Application does not transmit your personal data over the internet, reducing the risk of interception.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted will be deemed acceptance of the updated policy.
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, including as it may be amended from time to time.
