This Privacy Policy explains what information Focusly collects (or does not collect), how any limited local data is handled, and our commitment to your privacy.
Focusly is designed to function entirely offline. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with anyone.
Information We Collect
Focusly collects zero personal information.
The app does not access or store:
Your name, email address, phone number
Location, device ID, advertising ID, IP address
Contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal sensors
Analytics, crash reports, usage statistics
The only data ever handled by the app consists of:
Tasks you manually create
Habits you track
Journal entries you write
App preferences (e.g., dark/light mode, timer settings)
All of this data is stored exclusively on your own device using local storage (localStorage API in the webview environment).
None of it is ever sent to BITE and BLISS, to any server, or to any third party.
No Data Collection, No Sharing, No Tracking
We do not use any analytics SDKs (Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
We do not include advertisements or ad networks
We do not use any third-party services that could collect data
No data is uploaded, synced to the cloud, or shared in any way
Data Storage & Security
All user-created content (tasks, habits, journal entries) and settings remain only on your device.
Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently
Reinstalling the app starts with a clean state (no previous data is recovered)
We have no access whatsoever to anything stored in the app
Children’s Privacy
Focusly is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted in the app and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
