Welcome to FocusKit ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the FocusKit mobile application ("App").
Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Onboarding preferences: Your role, tasks, goals, and focus duration preferences that you enter during onboarding. This data is stored locally on your device.
App settings: Timer configurations, theme preferences, and notification settings.
Usage data: Focus session records including start time, end time, duration, interruptions, completed vs. abandoned sessions, and streak information. This data is stored locally using SwiftData and is not transmitted to our servers.
Subscription status: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase and subscription data. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information unless you voluntarily contact us for support.
We do not track your location.
We do not access your camera or microphone.
We do not collect data from third-party social networks.
We use the information collected to:
Provide and improve the App's core functionality (focus sessions, streaks, statistics, gamification).
Display your progress, statistics, and historical focus data within the App.
Manage your subscription and purchases via RevenueCat.
Deliver Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen Live Activities, and StandBy widgets reflecting your current session state.
Sync your data across your personal devices via iCloud (if you enable iCloud Backup).
Improve App performance and fix bugs based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
All your focus sessions, streaks, stats, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data does not leave your device unless you enable iCloud Backup.
If you choose to enable iCloud Backup within the App, your focus session history, streak records, and backup metadata will be synced to your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
FocusKit uses iOS App Groups to share your timer state between the main app, widgets, and Live Activities. This data is stored securely in your device's sandboxed shared container and is not accessible to other apps.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information stored on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FocusKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
FocusKit's Strict Mode feature uses Apple's ScreenTime / FamilyControls framework to apply app shields and focus restrictions on your device. This functionality operates entirely on-device and we do not collect, transmit, or store any data related to your Screen Time usage or restricted app activity.
Access and deletion: Since all data is stored locally on your device (or in your personal iCloud account), you can delete your data at any time by deleting the App or clearing App data via iOS Settings.
iCloud sync: You can disable iCloud Backup for FocusKit at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → FocusKit.
Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → FocusKit.
Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
