- Install: Open the App Store on Apple Watch or iPhone → search “Yoga Timer” → Install → open on the watch.

- Permissions: On first launch, allow Health access. Needed to read Heart Rate (optional) and write Mindfulness (optional). You can change anytime: iPhone Watchapp → My Watch → Privacy → Health → enable Heart Rate; iPhone Health app → Priv

acy → Apps → Yoga Timer.

- Haptics Not Felt: Turn off Silent Mode; watch Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Haptic Alerts = On and set to Strong; ensure Theater Mode is off; make sure wrist  detection is on; confirm Bluetooth isn’t routing taps to another device.

- Timing: One asana = Hold + Rest. The app uses wall-clock timing and extended runtime to keep accurate phase changes. Pause stops the timer; resume continues from the correct elapsed time. If Rest is 0, it jumps straight to the next Hold.

**Troubleshooting**

- Basic steps: Restart Apple Watch; force-quit the app and relaunch; reinstall the app.

- Re‑grant Health permissions: iPhone Watch app → Privacy → Health; iPhone Health app → Privacy → Apps → Yoga Timer.

- Check modes: Turn off Theater Mode and Low Power Mode for consistent haptics and background behavior.

- Update: Install the latest public watchOS.

**Device Requirements**

- Apple Watch running the latest public watchOS.

- Health features require granting Health permissions (Heart Rate read, Mindfulness write).

- No iPhone companion app is required during use, but the Watch app on iPhone is used to manage some permissions.
