Privacy Policy for Focus Enforcer
Last Updated: Feb 5 2026
1. Data Collection Focus Enforcer does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. The extension operates entirely on your local device.
2. Data Usage
Website Visits: The extension checks the URL of the active tab to determine if it matches a site on your "blocked" list. This check happens locally in your browser; your browsing history is never sent to external servers.
Time Tracking: The extension calculates the time spent on specific websites to provide the "alert" functionality. This data is stored temporarily in your browser's local storage.
3. Data Storage All user settings (including your list of blocked sites, time limits, and snooze preferences) are stored locally using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data is not synced to any cloud server managed by the developer.
4. Third-Party Sharing We do not share any data with third-party services or advertisers.
5. Contact If you have questions about this policy, please contact the developer via the support tab on the Chrome Web Store listing.
