A Friends of is a group of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to make their school a better environment for children to learn. They raise extra funds through a wide range of fun and creative initiatives, events, and much, much more. They are also known as a PTA, PTFA, or better still, Superheroes! 

As a parent of a child at Carterton Primary School, you are automatically a member of the group. this means you are able to attend meetings, vote for the committee and help us come up with ideas and events to raise money for the school. 

We have a (very) small committee and would like this to grow. Positions of Vice-Chair, Co-treasurer, Communications are all still vacant. Do get in touch if you'd like to be more involved.
