Friends of B-R Athletics (FOBRA) is a parent run, non-profit organization that provides resources that are no longer included in the athletic budget, to update equipment for sports teams, upgrades to sports facilities, varsity letters and pins, gym banners, league championship plaques and much more! Over the years FOBRA has provided much-needed funds to enhance the athletic experience for our student athletes.

Coaches Requests

The mission of FOBRA is to provide additional needs of our athletics teams that are not in the team budget. The money is provided to the teams through coaches request submissions. The head coach of any sport can fill out a request form that is voted on at the monthly FOBRA meeting. Any purchase requests over $1,000 must be made with 3 accompanying quotes for review. Requests are submitted to the athletic director for initial sign off and then sent to FOBRA.

Items not allowed for request: team transportation, bussing, hotel accommodations, uniforms, jerseys, team or senior banners, team pictures, end of year parties/banquets.

Money raised by FOBRA is allotted to all BR Athletic teams. Our main sources of fundraising throughout the year are the outdoor concession stand during football season, the indoor concession stand during basketball season, cheer competitions and wrestling quads, School Store and Mr. BR.
All funds raised through any of the above methods is available to any team regardless of when or where it was done. Football concession money does not go specifically to football, basketball concession does not go specifically to basketball, etc.
We are a volunteer run organization. We rely on all athletes and families to volunteer at our FOBRA fundraising events to help raise money for all athletes. A Sign Up Genius is circulated to the families to sign up for a shift at our concessions or other events. PLEASE consider donating a few hours of your time to volunteer for our student athletes.

FOBRA is a 501c3 Non Profit organization and we track the fundraised money for the general FOBRA fund as well as the fundraised money for each team. Payments and reimbursements from each team budget must be made through FOBRA and the head coach.
Teams conduct their own fundraisers through team parents, coaches and/or team players and money is given to FOBRA for deposit and tracking.

School Store
School Store
Our School Store is located within the high school. We are fully staffed by volunteer parents who open the store Monday-Friday during school lunches from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Anyone can visit the store during these hours - outside visitors need to check in at the main office first.
You can pay cash, check, credit, debit or Apple Pay in our store.
In addition to the inhouse school store we open for events such as student orientation, teacher convocation, parent/teacher conferences, open house, some professional development days for BR Staff and some other school events.
Our volunteers also set up the apparel tables at our home Trojans football games!
Twice a year (Winter and Spring) we open an online school store. Ordering can be done online and orders must be picked up on designated pickup dates. You can view the store HERE but online order is only open during our twice yearly sale dates.

We have partnered with Jostens to provide an online store for Varsity Letterman Jackets. Any athlete can order the jacket but the BR Chenille letters are earned and given out by our Athletics Department.
