Jake and Desi
Jacob and Desi met at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. They have been married since July 3, 2020. The couple lives in Willow Springs, MO, and attends Westside Family Life Center Church.
Jacob has worked for the State of Missouri since 2020. Desi has worked for the Mountain View - Birch Tree School District as the 11-12th grade Special Education Resource Teacher and the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. However, they are expecting a new addition to their family in July, and Desi will be stepping into the new role of a stay-at-home mother. Their passion has always been to serve others and grow the kingdom of God.
Desi has been a part of the camp since before she could walk. She has always loved to see the way the Lord’s presence moves throughout the camp and changes the lives of campers. She prays to continue seeing lives changed for the Glory of God.

Brittany Johnson attends New Hope Fundamental Methodist Church in Monett. One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 119:10, "With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments."
Brittany began working at Christian Academy of America in 2023 and currently serves as an office assistant and workflow coordinator. She appreciates the opportunity to assist parents as they establish a Godly foundation in their children's lives.
Growing up as a camper in the FM Youth Camp, Brittany has experienced first-hand how God moves in the lives of campers as well as staff, and she believes the FM Camp provides an excellent environment for building and growing a lifelong relationship with Christ. She is blessed to join the leadership team and is so excited to see God change lives at camp this year!

Darrin and Durrel Tudor have been married since August 2013. The two are alumni of the Berean Christian Academy, where they met in 2006. The Lord has blessed them with six children: Grayson, Duriah, Dayiah, Gauge, Divaya, and Damara. The family lives in Monett and attends Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church.
Darrin has been employed with the USPS since 2013. He enjoys the work and loves being able to reach out and build relationships with his customers. Durrel graduated from Crowder College as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in December of 2015. She works at Cox Rehabilitation in Monett and is extremely grateful and excited to be part of the team there.
Darrin started attending FM Youth as a counselor in 2008 and has enjoyed it every summer since. Durrel, on the other hand, has attended camp almost every year since she was just a toddler. “I absolutely love to see the Lord work and move in campers' lives year after year. There is nothing that means more to me than being able to share the love of Christ with children and young adults. It never fails that we end up getting more of a blessing from campers and the Lord than we could ever give in return! We are beyond blessed to be part of the leadership staff this year and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store!!

FM Youth Camp Staff is comprised of volunteers with servant hearts. We need staff who know how to pour into the life of a child. We need staff who know the importance of reaching our youth for Christ. In short...we need YOU! Remember, it's the staff, not the stuff.
What makes camp successful is the volunteers who willingly sacrifice part of their summer to make an eternal difference in the lives of our campers. Please take some time to consider and pray about this opportunity. Those of us who have worked at camp before can assure you that you will not regret it. The blessing you receive is indescribable.
We need volunteers who can stay full term at camp, and we need volunteers who can work just a few hours. If you are willing to help, please check out the tab named Church Camp and scroll down to the Staff Resources. All camp staff must be approved by the camp directors.
Applications must be received by 6/24/26 in order to do a mandatory criminal record check on camp staff and to ensure a t-shirt in your preferred size is available on opening day.
