Shakespeare Competition 2021
What is shakespeare competition?
Every year Utah Shakespeare Festival & Southern Utah University host a Jr. High & High School Shakespeare Competition in Cedar City, Utah. It is a highly renowned competition and many schools across Utah and the country come to compete. Students will spend 3 days and 2 nights in Cedar City soaking up all things Shakespeare!! Students who participate will be able to compete in the competition, as well as see other schools and participants perform various Shakespeare pieces. Students will attend an Utah Shakespeare Festival performance of Pirates of Penzance and another performance by SUU (title TBA).

2021 Shakespeare Competition Info
During the weekend of Sept. 30th - Oct. 2nd selected students will travel to SUU to compete in a Shakespeare Competition! It will be an overnight trip. 3 days/2 nights.
The total trip will cost $275/student to attend.
Hotel, Bus, Registration, Meals are included.
Every student who attends will be in the Ensemble piece!
If a student would like to compete in a monologue, duo, or trio scene, they need to speak with Ms. Bonifay individually!
After-School Rehearsals will start
MONDAY Aug. 30th from 3:00-4:00pm!
Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school with some Fridays.
