History

FM Queer Creatvie Club was founded in July 2025 by a small group of LGBTQ+ book lovers in the Fargo-Moorhead area who wanted a safe, inclusive space to share stories and connect. What began as casual conversations about queer literature quickly grew into a structured creative club that meets every other Tuesday to create community.

Future Goals

As FM Queer Creatives grows, we aim to

Expand our member numbers and host larger events
Launch volunteering initiatives to give back to the community
Build a strong online presence through social media and our website
Continue partnering with libraries and local organizations to amplify queer voices
Explore collaborations with other LGBTQ+ groups in the region
Host Queer Movie nights
Reach out to all of the college campuses in the region

Who we are

Oliver founded the club back in 2025 due to a lack of spaces for queer individuals to just socialize and discuss literature. What started out as a 2-person event has now become an 8+ every session!

No experience type is required to show up, just be yourself and have fun!
