FMNEAR
The FMNEAR method of waveforms inversion to determine focal méchanisms has been developped by Bertrand Delouis (Géoazur, Université Côte d'Azur, Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur), with the support of the European project NERA (Network of European Research Infrastructures for Earthquake Risk Assessment and Mitigation) and the Programa Riesgo Sismico (PRS) of the Universidad de Chile.
PRS is especially involved in the implementation of FMNEAR in Chile, and its dissemination in Latin America .

FMNEAR is also running in near real time in Ecuador, IG-EPN, implemented in the frame of French ANR project REMAKE and the support of IRD.

FMNEAR in its manual and automated versions is being implemented in OVISCORI en Costa Rica y en INSIVUMEH in Guatemala

The manual version of FMNEAR is openly distributed to anyone interested

The automatic version of FMNEAR for near real time is distributed within collaborative projects with seimological services and observatories, on request.

Note: this is one alternative among different ways to prepare the data, you may want to develop your own approach, for instance using ObsPy.
