When I was younger, I had a 'Jar of Joy'. Every time something nice or interesting happened, I'd put a token on that in the jar and at the end of the year, I'd read them all. This page is the grown up version of my Jar of Joy.
Awarded the Mittals and Ritchies Distinguished Fellowship/ MAE Dissertation Fellowship by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at OSU for Autumn 2026.
Selected as a participant for the 2026 Rising Stars in Computational and Data Sciences hosted by The Oden Institute, Sandia National Lab, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Los Alamos National Lab and The Santa Fe Institute. I'll be talking about my research titled, "Beyond Performance: Designing Photonic Systems in Extreme Conditions"!
Our work titled Fracture simulation and delamination behavior of HfO₂/SiO₂ nanolaminates under femtosecond laser interaction: a mechanistic approach got published in SPIE proceedings. This work also received The Alexander Glass Best Oral Presentation Award at SPIE Laser Induced Damage in Optical Materials 2025.
