R. SHANMUKA SUNDARI  (PH.D.)

Ms. Shanmuka Sundari Ranganathan is a material researcher who works in the field of thermoelectrics and functional materials. She joined Department of Physics, SRM IST (formerly known as SRM University) in July 2018 as a Research Scholar in Functional Materials and Energy Devices (FMED) laboratory. She completed his master’s in Physics from Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Bharathiar University and bachelor’s in Physics from Ethiraj College for Women, University of Madras. She gained experience in tuning material properties using nanotechnology from her master’s project in Ag-doped TiO2. She is experienced in fabricating nanomaterials through physical and chemical routes. In FMED She is experienced and equipped on handling hot-press sintering equipment. Shanmuka Sundari’s focus of research is on tunning the material properties of Cu1.8S and MoS2-based metal chalcogenides (MCs) and perovskite oxide (SrTiO3) for thermoelectric application. She presented his research in many reputed conferences and workshops.
