Dr. D. prakash
Dr. D. Prakash Post Doctoral Fellow who works in electrrocatalysis (HER) and functional materials. He joined a Post Doctoral Program in Nanotechnology Research Center at SRMIST in August 2023. His research mainly focused on electrocatalysis for hydrogen evaluation reactions using heterostructure 2D layered materials. Research interests include fabricating freestanding and substrate-supported electrodes for electrochemical applications, carbon-based materials, and other graphene-like 2D materials. He completed his Ph.D. under Dr. S. Manivannan, Carbon Nanomaterials Laboratory (CNML), Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India in 2022. He obtained a Master of Philosophy in physics from Gadhigram Rural Institute-Deemed University, Didigul, in 2012. He received his master’s degree in physics from National College (Affiliated to Bharathidasan University), Tiruchirappalli, in 2011, and he received his bachelor’s degree in physics from Aringer Anna Government Arts College Musiri (Affiliated to Bharathidasan University), Tiruchirappalli, in 2009. He has experienced in handling various instruments, including electrochemical workstation.
Campus: SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Kattankulathur – Chennai.
