C.N. DHIVYA MAHALAKSHMI
C.N. Dhivya Mahalakshmi is a Research Scholar who works in Gas Sensors . She is pursuing a Doctoral Program in the Department of Nanotechnology Research Centre at SRMIST. Her research work mainly focuses on Design and Development of Gas Sensors from 2D Nanomaterials. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Bishop Heber College, Trichy, in 2021, received her Master’s degree in Chemistry from Alagappa University, Karaikudi in 2023. She worked as a project fellow in the Department of NanoSciece and Technology, Alagappa University for developing gas sensor prototype. She is experienced in handling various instruments including UV-VIS Spectroscopy, FTIR Spectroscopy and Photoluminescence Spectroscopy.

Research Interest: 2D semiconductor metal oxides for room temperature gas sensors, Water Soluble Carbon quantum dots, Heavy metal and toxic metal sensors, organic synthesis, Coordination Chemistry
