Mr. Amuthan R is a material researcher who works in the field of thermoelectrics and functional materials. He joined Functional materials and Energy devices Laboratory, SRM IST (formerly known as SRM University) in September 2020 as Research Scholar. He completed his master’s in Physics from Bishop Heber College, Trichy and bachelor’s in Physics from St. Joseph’s College, Trichy. He is experienced in fabricating nanomaterials through physical and chemical routes. In FMED Laboratory, he is experienced and equipped on handling ball milling and hot press techniques. Amuthan’s focus of research is in tunning the material properties of Ternary oxides (TMDCs) and oxyselenidies for thermoelectric application and to investigate the effect of magnons in thermoelectrics. He presented his research in many reputed conferences and workshops
