FMD (Fetch Me Data) is a browser extension designed to help users access and organize publicly available SEC/IAPD Form ADV information.

Information Collection

FMD does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal user data.

The extension does not:

• Track browsing activity

• Collect personal information

• Collect authentication credentials

• Use analytics or advertising trackers

• Sell or share user data with third parties

Use of Permissions

The extension uses Chrome extension permissions solely to perform user-requested functionality.

activeTab

Used to access the currently active SEC/IAPD disclosure page after the user manually initiates an action.

scripting

Used to execute extraction scripts on SEC/IAPD public disclosure pages in order to retrieve publicly available Form ADV information.

tabs

Used to open and manage SEC/IAPD disclosure tabs required for the extraction workflow.

storage

Used only for temporary local storage of SEC/IAPD navigation parameters during the active session.

Website Access

FMD only interacts with publicly available SEC/IAPD disclosure pages, including:

• https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/

• https://files.adviserinfo.sec.gov/

The extension does not access unrelated websites.

Data Handling

All displayed information comes directly from publicly available SEC/IAPD filings.

No data is transmitted to external servers.

Temporary session data may be stored locally within the browser only for navigation and displaying purposes during active use.

User Control

All extension actions are initiated manually by the user.

The extension performs no background extraction or automated browsing without user interaction.
