FMC Camp 2024

 Is travel insurance included in the camp fees? 

Yes, we will purchase group insurance. 

However for individuals who already have their own insurance, please help us save cost by opting out upon registration. Otherwise we will be incurring extra cost unnecessarily. 

 If I am unable to attend all the camp sessions, are reduced rates available?

Unfortunately, there are no reduced rates. Do join us for as many sessions as possible. 

 I'm unable to join on the 4th of June or I need to leave earlier. Can I still participate in the camp?

Yes. Note that special arrangements will need to be made with the resort which may incur additional cost. Your camp committee will endeavour to facilitate your participation.

 Will there be transport to the ferry terminal from church? 

No, Singapore Cruise Centre is readily accessible via HarbourFront MRT. 

 Where do I take the ferry? 

The ferry terminal is situated at Singapore Cruise Centre.

I have motion sickness and am unable to take the ferry ride. Is there any other options for? 

The only way is via the ferry. Motion sickness medication is readily available to make the journey bearable.

 I have young children and need baby pram and such, is it advisable to bring it across to Batam via ferry?

It will be prudent to bring a pram and whatever deemed necessary. 

 Can I drive and park my car at the ferry terminal for the duration of the church camp? 

How much would the parking fees be like? 

There are parking lots available at the Singapore Cruise Centre.

How much does the ferry cost? 

Your camp committee is please to have negotiated group ferry rates at $73 round trip. 

Can I purchase my own ferry ticket?

No, as we are making a group booking with bus shuttle to resort.

 How do I get to Harris Resort Barelang Batam? 

More information will be given during the camp briefing. 

 Is Harris Resort Barelang Batam wheelchair-friendly?

Yes, there are lifts and ramps in for wheelchair bound individuals.

How many people can I register  for in one application?

The registration form is for each individual, for grouping in same room, please indicate the Main applicant's email during registration. 

 I am not in any Small Groups,  can I register for Church Camp? 

Yes! We welcome all FMCians and their friends.

 What happens to my personal data collected during registration? 

As per the Personal Data Protection Act, FMC will ensure that all reasonable security arrangements are in place to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal of your personal information.

 How will I know if my registration is successful? 

A confirmation email will be sent to the Main Registrant upon successful registration. If you do not receive the confirmation email in your Inbox, please check your Spam folder.

 I am experiencing technical difficulties  during registration. What do I do?

 I made an error in my  registration. What do I do? 

Please email fmc.camp.team@gmail.com with your main registrant email details and indicate the correction needed.

 What modes of payment  are accepted? 

Paynow to FMC UEN, indicate and upload the payment screenshot into the registration form.

 Can I make partial payment when I submit my registration? 

We will contact you to finalise the registration. Thereafter, full payment is required to complete the registration.

 I'm not tech savvy, I don’t know how to  make an online payment. What can I do? 

We encourage you to seek help from your friends or family members. Alternatively, please reach out to any of the camp committee for their assistance.

 If I have a last-minute emergency and cannot attend the camp, will I receive a refund? 

Withdrawals before 7th April 2024, are eligible for a full refund. 

Withdrawal from 8th April to 5th May 2024, are eligible to receive up to 40% refund. 

There will be no refunds for withdrawals after 6th May 2024. 

This is as per the contract with the resort. Please note that refunds are at the resort's discretion and the resort reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.

My passport expires right after camp on Jun 7. Will I need to renew my passport? 

Yes, you should renew your passport before heading to Church Camp. All passports must be valid for at least six months after the date of departure from Singapore.

I would like to join the camp but am experiencing financial difficulties. What are my options? 

The church welcomes your participation, kindly approach our camp committee for our assistance.

Do I need to prepare Rupiah for any payment? 

It would be prudent to carry a small amount for contingencies.
