FlyTheCoop's 1st YouTube - Our Shake Down Trip
Seasoned RVers will advise for you to take a shake down trip(s) before going full time. This allows for you to understand what you do/don't need to live in the RV, as well as, getting you comfortable with the new life you will be embarking. We decided to visit Madison, WI for our first shake down trip, and it was a pretty epic adventure.

What an adventure! Who knew there was something this cool in the middle of Iowa? We took advantage of the beautiful fall day and headed up for this amazing train ride. I am certain this is a beautiful view, no matter what time of the year it is!

We had a rough start to our 2023 Snowbird migration. We definately left 2 weeks too late! Winter had come to Iowa, and we had a mess on our hands in the RV. Frozen Pipes and Gas Leaks did not start us off on a good feet, but we quickly got our barings when we made it to Texas. Spent an amazing Thanksgiving with family and friends before contiuing East to Florida.
We of course could not help ourselves, we had to stop in New Orleans on the way through. Amanda got her first taste of the Big Easy lifestyle, while James enjoyed soaking in his old friend on his 9th official NoLa trip.
