Economy Class: Current Belavia Baggage Benefit Rules

Economy Class in accordance with the revised rules from October 2017, and an update in November 2019, offers 1 person a complimentary allowance for bags.

• Promo Light 1 piece of hand luggage that weighs up to 10 kg and no check-in baggage

• One piece of hand luggage up to 10kg, 1 piece of check-in baggage up to 23kg Smart

• 1 piece of hand luggage up to 10kg 1 piece of checked-in baggage up to 32kg Flex tariff

The fee for exceeding the weight using size or number is EUR50/60/PS50. The amount charged is not contingent on where the flight is going or the number of excess kilograms is carried. This means that the 50-euro fee applies to any flight in which the allowance is not met.

Current Belavia Baggage Benefit Rules for Business Class

These changes did not affect Business Class. Business Class gives one-person free baggage allowance.

2 pieces of checked-in baggage weighing no more than 32kg each plus 2 pieces each of hand baggage weighing 10 kg

For exceeding weight, by size, or quantity, the charge is EUR5060or PS50. The fee is not based on where the flight going or the number of excess kilograms is transported. The 50-euro fee will apply to flights in which the allowance is exceeded.

Additional Belavia Baggage Rules

These items are also available for free to each Belavia passenger:

1 briefcase, 1 bag, handbag one backpack or bag (bag), with the option of a video camera (maximum 5kg and maximum size of 40x30x10cm) or 1 suit, one bag (or one item of duty-free shopping).

Baby cradle/ stroller, car seats or boosters for children between 0 and 2 years old. Also, you can utilize a wheelchair or a different type of vehicle that is suitable for people with limited mobility.

b. Pet Policy

Airline approval is required before animals are allowed to be transported. Animals that live inside soft bags (ladies' bag or shopping bags) which are not suitable to be transported is strictly prohibited. It is strictly forbidden.

Animals (including their container weight) are not part of the baggage allowance that is free. The transport of animals within the cabin will cost you 50 EUR/60 USD/50GBP*.

Animals may be carried in the cabin either in hand luggage (weight added to the container up to 8kg) and also on an individual passenger seat that is lowered to 23kg (weight added to the container to a maximum of 23 kilograms).

A fee will be charged for transporting an animal in hand luggage.

There is a fee to take an animal with a separate passenger seat.

The costs for transporting animals within the hold costs are:

• Up to 8kg Up to 8kg EUR/ 160 USD/120 GBP*

• From 8 to 32 kg Between 8 and 32 kg. 150 EUR/180 USD/130 GBP*

• From 32 to 70kg from 32 to 70 kg EUR 220 USD*160 GBP

* The rate in USD is only applicable to Israel.

The rate in GBP only applies to Great Britain. All other points are subject to the EUR Rate.

These documents are required to transport animals via air.

c. Refund and Cancellation Policy

An e-ticket purchased via the official website is an air carriage contract between Belarusian Airlines (the passenger) and itself. All obligations are directly between the two parties, regardless of whether the customer paid for the ticket. You can terminate the air transportation contract by:

• Passenger;

• 'Belavia' Belarusian Airlines.

You can terminate an air transportation contract.

• It is voluntary (on the request of either);

• Involuntary (for reasons outside of the parties' control, such as cancellations of flights or changes to schedules).

The purchase made on the internet of an electronic ticket cannot be refunded unless you fill out the Application for Flight Cancellation as well as Refund.

• If the passenger is of a mature age and legally competent, the proxy of the person who is legally competent.

• Passenger's legal representative (parents or adoptive parents guardians, curators, or parents) when the person is under 18 or legally incompetent.

If the person who is the passenger's proxy or legal representative has requested a flight cancellation or refund the passenger can request the refund.
