An audition is not required to attend Boost. Once registration is complete, students will receive an email confirmation with instructions for submitting a brief recording of their playing, in order to place students in chamber groups with others of comparable level. 

A limited number of Merit-based scholarships and scholarships based on financial need, will be awarded in 2026. The scholarship covers 50% of tuition costs. 

To be considered for a talent-based scholarship, students should email recordings (or a link) of two contrasting works/etudes (max 5 minutes per selection) to: lswinden@wlu.ca by April 15, 2026.

To be considered for a need-based scholarship, students should

• indicate yes to the question on the online registration,

• email two letters of reference that speak to the student's intention to attend and financial need to the following address: lswinden@wlu.ca

Deadline for need-based scholarship consideration is April 15, 2026.
