Estimadas/os colegas,
En nombre del Comité Organizador Local, les comunicamos las últimas novedades relacionadas con la XVII Reunión sobre Recientes Avances en Física de Fluidos y sus Aplicaciones (FLUIDOS 2023) a llevarse a cabo en la ciudad de San Luis del 1 al 3 de noviembre de 2023.
1. Cronograma
El cronograma de la reunión se encuentra publicado en la página.
2. Hotelería
En el sitio web encontrarán una lista de posibles hoteles y sus contactos para que consulten sobre tarifas y reservas. Visitar:

3. Conferencias Plenarias
Se encuentran anunciadas las conferencias plenarias invitadas, sus expositores y resúmenes. Pueden verlas en:

4. Pósteres y Charlas
Los pósteres podrán exponerse durante toda la reunión. Se contará con paneles de aproximadamente 1.75 m de alto x 1 m de ancho. La mejor forma de sujeción del póster será con cinta adherente común o con chinches.
Como puede apreciarse en el cronograma, las charlas ya se encuentran distribuidas en bloques de 15 minutos cada una, incluido el tiempo para preguntas.
5. Ayuda Económica
En cuanto a la ayuda económica para estudiantes, estamos en condiciones de otorgar un pequeño subsidio de aproximadamente $AR 25.000 para cada estudiante inscripto, a fin de solventar parcialmente los gastos de asistencia a la reunión.
6. Comedor Universitario
Hemos acordado con el Comedor Universitario de la UNSL para que los asistentes a FLUIDOS 2023 que lo deseen, puedan comer en sus instalaciones. Se deberá tener en cuenta que todos los días existe un gran número de estudiantes que comen en dicho comedor, por lo que suele haber filas para el ingreso. Es por ello que en el cronograma se ha tenido en cuenta un lapso horario suficiente para el almuerzo.
7. Paseo
El día 2 de noviembre en horas de la tarde, se realizará un paseo en ómnibus por las cercanías de la ciudad (La Punta y Potrero de los Funes). El mismo durará alrededor de dos horas y media y será gratuito. El número de plazas es limitado, por esa razón, al momento de acreditarse en el congreso, los y las interesados/das deberán anotarse a fin de reservar el lugar.
8. Cena de Camaradería
El día 2 de noviembre a las 20:30hs. se realizará la cena de camaradería que contará con una pequeña degustación de vinos al comienzo. Esperamos que todos Ustedes puedan participar. El precio de la tarjeta y los detalles para su adquisición se anunciarán próximamente por la web.

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to bring you some news about the XVII Meeting on Recent Advances in Physics of Fluids and its Applications (FLUIDS 2023), to be held in the city of San Luis from November 1st to 3rd, 2023.
1.Program

2.Hotels

3.Plenary conferences

4.Posters and Talks
Posters can be kept displayed throughout the meeting. There will be panels approximately 1.75 m high x 1 m wide. The best way to secure the poster will be with regular adhesive tape or with thumbtacks.
The talks are already distributed in blocks of 15 minutes including time for questions (see the web schedule).
5.Grants for students
Regarding financial aid for students, we are able to provide a small grant of approximately $AR 25,000 for each registered student to partially cover the costs of attending the meeting.
6.University Cafeteria
We have agreed with the UNSL University Cafeteria so that FLUIDOS 2023 attendees can eat at their facilities if they want to. It should be taken into account that every day there are a large number of students who eat in that place, so there are usually long lines to enter. That is why the schedule has a sufficient time period for lunch.
7.Tour
During the afternoon of November 2nd, there will be a bus ride nearby the city region (La Punta and Potrero de los Funes). It will last around two and a half hours and will be free. The number of places is limited, for this reason, when registering for the congress, interested parties must book in order to reserve their place.
8.Fellows’ dinner
On November 2 at 8:30 p.m., there will be a camaraderie dinner that will include a small wine tasting at the beginning. We hope that all of you can participate. The price of the card and the details for its acquisition will be announced soon on the website.
