Florida' Forest Heritage Landmarks

Florida's early economy was built on the utilization of the its forests. The Florida Division has sponsored the designation and erection of markers for five State Heritage Landmarks recognized as important in the development of the state's forest industry. Other markers across Florida also help document this aspect of Florida's history.
