Who we are

Flow Mate is a Chrome extension developed independently by Saqlain ("we", "us"). This page explains what data Flow Mate handles when you use it — and, more importantly, what it doesn't do.

What Flow Mate stores, and where

Your prompts, reference images, generation settings, and library tags are stored locally using Chrome's storage and IndexedDB APIs, on your own device.

None of this data is sent to Flow Mate's developer, to an analytics service, or to any server — because Flow Mate does not have a server or backend of any kind.

This data is read only by Flow Mate itself, to run the automation you started, and by you (for example, if you upload or export a .txt prompt file).

What Flow Mate accesses on the web

Flow Mate's automation only runs on Google Flow (labs.google and flow.google.com) — the site it automates for you. It reads and interacts with that page (entering prompts, attaching reference images, clicking generate) only while you are actively running a batch.

Flow Mate does not read, modify, or collect data from any other website.

Downloads

When auto-download is turned on, Flow Mate uses Chrome's downloads API to save generated images and videos from Google Flow straight to your chosen downloads folder. Files go directly from Google Flow to your device — Flow Mate never sees or stores a copy anywhere else.

Notifications

Flow Mate can show a local desktop notification when a batch finishes running. This happens entirely on your device and involves no external server.

Third-party links

Flow Mate links out to a WhatsApp community (only if you choose to click "Join Now") and to the developer's email address. Visiting those links is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy and your email provider's, not this one. Flow Mate does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children's privacy

Flow Mate is a productivity tool built for Google Flow users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children — because we do not collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If Flow Mate's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
