FlowLapse Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 27, 2026
FlowLapse is designed to create timelapse videos from screen activity while keeping your content private.
Data Collection
FlowLapse does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or track personal data.
FlowLapse does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, user accounts, or remote servers to process your screen recordings.
Screen Capture
When you start a timelapse, FlowLapse uses Apple's system-provided screen capture functionality.
Screen content captured during a timelapse is processed locally on your device. Captured screen content is not uploaded to FlowLapse servers or transmitted to the developer.
Because FlowLapse captures your screen, anything visible during an active capture — including content from other apps and notifications — may appear in the resulting timelapse.
Temporary Files
FlowLapse may temporarily store captured frames and processing files on your device while creating a timelapse.
Temporary files associated with successfully completed sessions are removed after processing and export.
Photos Access
FlowLapse requests permission to add completed timelapse videos to your Photos library.
FlowLapse uses add-only Photos access and does not require access to browse or read your existing photo library.
Internet and Third-Party Services
FlowLapse does not require an account and does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
Your captured screen content is not sent to third-party services by FlowLapse.
Children's Privacy
FlowLapse does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if FlowLapse's features or data practices change. The latest version will be made available through the application's Privacy Policy link.
