Introduce free weights, machines, bands and bodyweight-based resistance-training concepts to eliminate apprehension or preconceived notions regarding resistance training including its effects and risks.

Founded and facilitated Well-Being Yoga for Cancer Patients, a therapeutic yoga program thoughtfully designed for individuals undergoing cancer treatment and survivorship. The program served patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses and physical abilities, emphasizing safety, adaptability, dignity, and whole-person healing. Classes were intentionally structured so every participant could experience success—recognizing that each body expressed poses differently—while leaving sessions feeling physically supported, emotionally uplifted, and deeply connected to others. Beyond physical benefits, the program fostered a spiritually grounded, emotionally supportive environment where participants formed meaningful connections, cultivated resilience, and experienced a strong sense of belonging and community.

Enlisted to join department founded in Sport Education model within 2-campus vocational high school providing traditional course offerings as well as career-focused programs to 1.5K+ students. Utilize student-centered learning approaches dedicated to promoting leadership and fostering positive environments. Devise curricula, lessons, and activities in collaboration with fellow educators, following Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) guidelines to meet requirements of diverse student population (special needs, gifted and talented, and English language learners). Oversee 150 students in main gym and 30 students in individual classes, setting objectives and evaluating growth. Additionally plan and provide American Heart Association First Aid CPR/AED certification courses to faculty.
Committee Involvement & Contributions:
· Appointed as Coordinator of the CCTS Wellness Committee responsible for compiling required metrics as per CDC School Health Index and developing self-assessment plan based on CDC modules in collaboration with district administration.
· Joined Superintendent’s Mindfulness Team and created a pilot plan for a mindfulness program for students, staff, and parents; plan, program summary, and ideas for addition of mindfulness topics to health curriculum approved by CCTS Board of Education 6/2019.
· Actively participate in CCTS District Strategic Planning Committee comprising students, parents, and teachers and working in close partnership with NJ School Boards Association; helped assess strengths/achievements as well as challenges, form belief system, and establish shared vision for district’s future.
· Serve on district-wide PASS (Parents, Administrators, Students, and Staff) Committee that continually evaluates district goals and achievements to determine ways to maximize students’ success and unify educational community across both campuses; chosen to present committee recommendations to CCTS Board of Education.
· As member of CCTS School Climate/HIB Committee, review corrective actions taken by management, assist in evaluating HIB, accident prevention and remediation programs, and submit ideas for improvement.
· As District Health and Physical Education Curriculum Committee Representative for Gloucester Township Campus, collaborated with fellow teachers and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction to create 4-year Health and Physical Education curriculum submitted to NJDOE Board for approval 2022.

· Continually receive top performance ratings following TEACHNJ/Danielson Model evaluations and data-driven assessments of student growth.
· Created cutting-edge units including Cultural Dance (in partnership with Rowan University), Unity Power Yoga, “Learn the Basics, All Lives Matter!” First Aid CPR AED Course, and Communities of Practice In-Service Workshop: Yoga and Mindfulness.
- Earned Character.org Promising Practice Awards for Unity Power Yoga (2016), Cultural Dance (2017), and “Learn the Basics, All Lives Matter!” (2018) programs.
- Presented Unity Power Yoga program at NJ Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance conference as well as Rowan University’s Yoga in NJ Schools symposium attended by 100 administrators, teachers, counselors, and Board of Education members.

Pioneered and completed board-approved, 3-year volunteer administrative residency. Supported Assistant Principal by performing thorough classroom evaluations including detailed notes, lesson analyses, and post-evaluation discussions with teachers. Set final exam and teacher duty schedules for 117 staff. Presided over attendance and discipline matters, conducting investigations and/or interventions regarding substance abuse, electronic device violations, and disruptive behavior; held parent conferences. Functioned as PARCC Examiner, overseeing security plan, testing environments, and administration protocols.
· Created and led cohort of 18 teachers to orchestrate implementation of Charlotte Danielson Evaluation Model.
- Identified professional development needs, demonstrated effective classroom reflective of Danielson domains to faculty via video, and simplified framework criteria including definitions of components and elements.
