Customers have 48 hours from date of receiving your product, to ask for a refund. The product must be unused, not damaged, and returned in its original packaging. The Peony Experience is designed for individuals looking for extra communication during the preservation process. With this add-on service and additional cost, you will receive a hands-on approach to your floral preservation experience, including design proofs for both frame and resin pieces. This is an all-encompassing, client experience that prioritizes constant communication between our Client Relations Team and our Creative Manager for a finished, sentimental piece, customized to your tastes.

I chose the green glass acrylic for sale at Ignite Studio to press my flowers between. Cut your acrylic into a shape of your choosing using the laser engraver. The recommended settings for this material are a speed setting of 13 and power setting of 55.

Go outside, and collect some wildflowers. If they are fresh, press and dry them between two heavy books for no less than two days. Arrange your dried flowers on top of one of the pieces of acrylic. These flowers are dried hydrangeas from last year.

While researching this product, I read a small amount goes a long way. And I did not seem to follow that advice. I got a cracking effect from the solvent setting, which I ended up liking, so I did it to all three of my pressed flower frames.

The effect reminded me of veins in flower petals. If you do not want cracks, flood the surface of the acrylic and the flowers, then press the two pieces of acrylic together. Use a paper towel to wipe away any excess.

3. Prep flowers and petals by giving them shape. Using a pen or paintbrush, begin to roll the edges of the flowers to give them movement and life. Then with the leaves, score (gently) and then crease the center most sections gently to give the leaves shape as well.

4. Begin glueing everything together! ?

This is the fun part! You can start to glue your flowers together by working largest layer to smallest. And then begin arranging and glueing your flowers onto your frame. You may need to cut out more leaves or flowers as you continue arranging to make the frame full + happy! ?

Please keep in mind that breeds vary by size and that the breeds above are examples, you should go by the size and weight of your dog. The weight and frame measurement are the most important measurements. If you have any questions regarding size, please call customer service and they will be happy to assist you.

Every flower presses differently, some keep their color and others change. Some are more difficult and others are quite simple. Every FruitFlowers arrangement from Edible features seasonal flowers so they all vary slightly to make sure the blooms are at their finest and freshest when delivered! The flowers and greenery included in mine pressed beautifully!

You will notice that not all colors stay the same once the flowers are dried. Yellow holds its hue the best, whereas hot pinks turned more purple, and pastel flowers lost a bit of their color. The same goes for greenery, some greenery, like myrtle and the leaves I pulled from rose stems, held their color, but leaves like eucalyptus turned more olive.

1. Alongside a photo or card: Try using the frame as more of a shadow box or collage to preserve a memory, occasion, milestone or season of life. Include a photo, invitation, card or other piece of memorabilia alongside your flowers! Place the photo in the center of the frame, or in one of the corners, and have a few blooms overlap it to tie everything together.

3. Make it a bouquet: If you like the look of pressed flowers with the stems still on, try arranging them so they look like a dried bouquet inside the frame. Gather all the stems at the bottom as you lay your various flowers inside, and let them spread out towards the top to form a bouquet shape.

Maybe you can try adjusting some of these variables and see if you get better results. For example, you can use thinner or more absorbent paper towels, cut the stems shorter, or reduce the microwave time. You can also check on the flowers every 30 seconds to see how they are doing.

This method for dried flower frames is much faster but it can be a little finicky. We bought several cheap bouquets and picked some flowers to experiment with. Plus we used them for our Botany lessons. Two birds with one stone!

I tried to at least steer clear of the obviously dyed flowers but we ended up with some in our order and the kids loved them anyway. To be honest, they actually are really pretty. You can find them here.

Check to make sure your flowers are going in the right direction before you glue them. My son spent a couple of hours creating a tree scene only to discover he had glued it all down sideways to the chain. I accidently glued mine upside down. But I still liked mine so I kept it.

Preserved flowers are 100% real flowers that have undergone a preservation process which allows it to stay fresh looking for a longer period of time. Their best condition period is in between 1-3 months depending on the humidity of the environment. It would be good to place them in air-conditioned or dry & well ventilated places.

If you are using hydrangeas (like me) the heads themselves can be too big for this project. You can simply breakdown the heads into smaller sections using scissors. I even clipped off some single little flowers to dry.

Remove the backing on your frame and check out how it is assembled. My frame set came with a glass pane in front, a matte board, another cardboard piece, and then the backing. Each frame set can be different.
