Science is about Knowing; Engineering is about Doing.

Welcome to my Homepage !!
At present, I am working as a researcher at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kanpur in the area of vortex breakdown in turbulent swirling jets, under the supervision of Dr. Pradeep Moise. Previous to this, I was working as a junior fellow at IIT Goa & was researching in the area of ground vehicle aerodynamics to come up with a drag reduction mechanism for bluff-body flows with active control method enabled.
After completing my bachelors (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education & Research, I went on to pursue my Master's degree in Fluids & Thermal specialization at IIT Guwahati. Following my graduation, I continued working there as a Research Associate in the project, Anupravaha-II, for 7 months before I moved abroad. Following a short stint as a graduate researcher at the Climate & Fluid Physics group at the Research School of Earth Sciences, ANU (where I was looking into Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation), I moved on to UNSW to pursue research on clean combustion of renewable hydrogen fuel in application to marine propulsion.
In general, I love to pursue science & am passionate about areas/projects that are related to nature & sustainable development. Besides work, I love to play Table Tennis & badminton in my free time. I also like to occasionally involve in literary & dramatic activities.
Master's thesis title: Investigation of turbulent flow using two-equation models over a hybrid unstructured grid. (2015-2017)
Bachelor's thesis title: Numerical analysis of flow past a square based surface mounted pyramid. (2011-2015)
