January 2025: Tree shows signs of recovery (new branches, leaves, and blooms) thanks to my watering.
HOA Board votes to cut it.

2021: Tree dies.
2022: Tree is cut and replaced with a shrub.
2023: The shrub planted in its place dies.
Oak -- South Side
Oak -- South Side
May 2023: Tree is planted as a replacement for the dead ficus.
August 2023: Tree dies.
January 2025: Tree has been replaced with an oak but is not sufficiently irrigated.
The revived shrubs also continue to lack proper irrigation, so I supplement with some extra water.
