With statewide jurisdiction, we cover nearly 300 miles of highways, ensuring public safety at all times. While issuing citations for traffic violations or making arrests for impaired drivers is a central focus for troopers, we offer a variety of divisions within our department. Our K9 division is constantly sniffing out the narcotics found within Florida, while the Highway Patrol S.W.A.T. Team will always be on standby for those high-risk, dangerous situations. we also deal with state-level offenders and crime scene investigation. Meanwhile on those rigorous pursuits, our Special Vehicle Unit team is compiled of professional operators made up of skilled drivers and pilots, looking to take on any challenge that comes their way.
