My Bio

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In 2010 I graduated from Highlands High School where I was a member of the Varsity orchestra, National Honors Society, and the Architecture club. I love to travel and learn new languages especially when they pertain to something I can use in the classroom. I am a graduate of San Antonio College from which I attained an Associates degree in Teaching. I continued my studies at UTSA as a Music Education Major where I graduated with a distinguishment in violin performance in May of 2020. I am currently the orchestra director at Vale MS in Northside ISD. I perform with a couple local community orchestras, an amateur mariachi group, and gig periodically. I am currently working toward completing my Pedagogy and Performance Masters degree at UTSA. I also currently serve on the board of 2 local non-profits, San Antonio Parents of Orchestras Who Rock (SAPOWR), and Agarita Chamber Players where my focus is educational outreach.
