My name is Florian Richter, and I am a Postdoc. I also held a one-year research professorship (Vertretungsprofessur) for the societal implications and ethical aspects of artificial intelligence at the Technical University Ingolstadt of Applied Sciences, where I also worked as a Postdoc for two and a half years. Before that, I was a professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. I taught classes on philosophy, ethics, and artificial intelligence. My main research fields are technology ethics, ethics of artificial intelligence, and human-centered artificial intelligence.

I studied philosophy, history, and politics at the University of Stuttgart (M.A.) and at the TU Darmstadt (Ph.D. in Philosophy). I was also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh under the supervision of Professor Bob Brandom. I argue in my thesis for a hermeneutical approach to metaethics (The Status of the Normative), which Professor Christoph Hubig supervised.
