Rosinweed
These sunflower-like flowers track the sun, while providing nectar for bees, wasps and butterflies. Come winter, the seeds are popular with seed eating birds
Summer Phlox
Everything that feeds on nectar uses these flowers! At FFF we cut back about half the plants to prolong the bloom season.
Steeplebush
The stems of this plant are woody, growing to 3 - 4 ft. Pink plumes appear in midsummer. It spreads...but SLOWLY.
Meadowsweet
This close relative of steeplebush grows taller (to 5 - 6 ft). Its white flowers are covered with all types of pollinators...it is a pollinator magnet.
