Our INBRE 2021 cohort is currently exploring, alongside Dr. Dertien's mentorship, the potential methods of environmental DNA collection as a way to identify and database native plants. Methods currently being researched focus on the gathering of soil substrates using a variety of novel methods not yet explored. This includes literature review et c etc
