Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
Floppy Bird ("the App") is a simple tap-to-fly arcade game with four difficulty levels. This policy explains what information the App and its advertising partner handle when you play. We built the App to work with as little data as possible — there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no chat features.
Information the App itself collects
The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal details.
Stored only on your device: Your best score for each difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane), saved locally using Android's standard app storage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to any third party. Uninstalling the App deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows a small banner ad, served by Google AdMob, on the home screen and the game screen. The App does not show interstitial (full-screen), video, or rewarded ads — only static banners.
To serve and measure these ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect technical information from your device, such as:
Advertising ID (a resettable, non-permanent device identifier)
IP address and general (non-precise) location derived from it
Device type, operating system version, and app version
Ad interaction data (e.g. whether an ad was shown or tapped)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, under Google's own privacy terms:
Google AdMob — banner ad serving & measurement — https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Google Play Services — advertising ID, app distribution — https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can limit ad personalization or reset your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings, typically under Settings › Google › Ads.
Children's privacy
Floppy Bird is offered as a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not operate our own analytics or ad servers — the only third party involved is Google, acting as described above to deliver the banner ad.
Security
Because the App stores only a local high score and no personal data on our side, there is no account or personal profile for us to secure. Data handled by Google AdMob is protected under Google's own security practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "Effective" date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised policy.
