The Fast Flake System is a next generation resin that has been tested and proven over many years to withstand the harshest conditions in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
The product is fast curing, low VOC, 100% solids, excellent adhesion, high chemical resistance, non-yellowing, aliphatic Polyaspartic and long-term gloss retention for interior and exterior applications. Full chemical resistance IS achieved in 5 days.
The Fast Flake System is essential when a project needs a fast turnaround, UV resistant, low VOC and flexibility in colour choices.
INSTALLATION STEPS
STEP ONE
Surface Preparation
Mechanically grind surface with industrial vacuum to remove existing coatings and create a smooth pourous surface
STEP TWO
Concrete Joint Repairs
Repair cracks, joints, chips and spalls in concrete to ensure a smooth and level surface
STEP THREE
Apply Basecoat
Apply the two part high performance resin spreading and rolling to achieve 100% hide and coverage.
STEP FOUR
Broadcast Flake
As the epoxy is drying the flake is broadcast evenly and generously over the entire surface.
STEP FIVE
Review Flake Coverage
Flake coverage is reviewed from different angles to check coverage and evenness. Flake is scraped for uniformity with excess recovered and recycled.
STEP SIX
Apply Polyaspartic Top Coat
Polyaspartic clear sealer top coat is applied evenly and generously to achieve a high performance and durable finish. Vehicles drive on the floor the very next day!
