Teacher Recruitment of Fun English Program

Tainan City Government’s Office of English as the Second Official Language and the FLOMO Educational Foundation are now recruiting English teachers from local college and university students in Tainan for the Fun English Program to collaboratively promote English education among children under age 12. The Fun English Program aims to train and prepare program participants as future English teachers. Applicants must pass two phases of the selection process and finish the training courses prior to appointment. Our teachers will be teaching English or telling stories in FLOMO School, elementary schools, libraries, and district activity centers. If you are interested in English teaching, please join our program. Certificates for English proficiency are suggested to be attached to your resume.

• Teaching Demonstration Date: Starting TODAY ~ 2018/4/13, 14:00~17:00.
• Teaching Demonstration Process:

Please go to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1b7HUh6seWrhKHU6X6pDOHvfwUstNCT4IMPoBSbHAIdI/viewform?c=0&w=1 and pick one unit for a 10-minute teaching demonstration in English. Alternatively, you can present a 10-minute English storytelling demonstration. Please prepare your own story and teaching aids.

• Teaching Demo Results will be announced at 3p.m. on April 27^th, 2018.
• Training Courses will be held for three days from May 18^th to May 20^th (a total of 20 hours).
• Teaching Hours and Salaries:

Teaching hours will be arranged according to teaching locations. Hourly wage is NT$350.
