Flodstrom’s Driving School now providing the DMV Road Exam at a cost of $50.
Flodstrom’s Driving School is approved to administer the Cooperative Driver Test (DMV Road Exam.) Students need to have passed a Teenage Driver’s Education Program with an 85% or higher, completed all their BTW lessons and be age 17 or younger. Cost to take the Cooperative Driver Test is $50.
Students under the age of 18 can sign up for the Co-op Driver Test AFTER they have held their permit for a MINIMUM of 6 months.
As mandated by the Secretary of State, students are only allowed to attempt the Road Exam at Flodstrom’s Driving School 1 time.
If successful, students will receive digital documentation showing completion of the driving exam, allowing them to skip* the road test at the DMV when applying for a driver’s license after they have turned 16 and have held their permit for 9 consecutive months. *Students whose birthdays fall on certain spot check dates must pass a driving exam administered at a DMV even though they may have taken and passed a road test conducted by their driver education instructor
